Hello everyone!

Very Quick update:

Coach booked (only £10 return for BOTH OF US!! Wow - funfare!!) Hotel (almost) booked - good price, quiet location right near central London, just awaiting confirmation - we're staying two nights and planning to rest before and after!!!

I'm pretty sure this will be a one-off for me, so PLEASE sponsor us - all funds raised are for NRAS, so please pass on our details to friends and family. Thank you! xxxxx

More details - http://www.virginmoneygiving.com/LIZBUCKLEY

Im training slowly but surely - building up stamina - we both have amazing running shoes with a bit of "bounce" in them!

Sophie ran for sport relief yesterday. She ran 3 miles - so half what we will do in May. The local papers were there - she had her piccie took so Im buying them all this week hoping she is in there!!

Just waiting for Sophie to pose for an updated photo then posters all ready!

Dear All,

As you know Sophie and I will be taking part in the Bupa 10K in London on 31st May, raising funds for the NRAS.

This is in appreciation of the great support I have had from NRAS over the years, especially when newly diagnosed with R.A.
I just think they're great for all the information I have found thru' them and have then been able to share with my family,
..... and I SO appreciate the forum which I only joined last year - and don't know why I hadnt joined before!!

Every penny we raise is going directly to NRAS.

If you haven't sponsored us yet the link is below:
and please can I ask if you would also share this link with others so we can raise as much money as possible for our very worthy cause.
Thank you!

www.virginmoneygiving.com/SOPHIEandLIZ

Also have a look for our page on facebook, "Sophie and Liz - Running for the National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society" Thanks again!

I have tried to add the attachment for sponsor form templates that Val sent me as I would be so grateful if anyone would like to help raise a few more sponsors but i cant make it work....RollEyes maybe Val or someone will add the link here for anyone who would like to help us raise even more money. Thank you

Finally, work and home is VERY hectic at the moment (work is IMMENSE, nuff said, ....also my Uncle has had a bad fall - he's back home from hospital with a deep head wound and a very shiny red eye, recovering well but very very lucky after a bad fall in the garden...)

So, I just thought if as many people as are able to help, had a sponsor form - this could really help raise our total and I would be SO grateful!!!

Thank You All! Lots of love ~ from Liz and Sophie xxxxx

Hi Liz

I meant to sponsor you and Sophie when we were at Leicester but it went right out of my head!! Now done it online!

I will be thinking of you on Monday 31st and wishing I was there running with you. Enjoy the day, the support, the scenery but most of all ... your achievement. Thank you for doing this in support of NRAS.
All the best to you both.

Lyn xx
My son, Ian, completed the BUPA Great North Run on 15th September running for the National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society (NRAS). You can read his story at http://www.justgiving.com/ianlukewilson

Well, i WANT it to rain.... not all morning but just at the start - like on marathon day - apparently it helps with oxygen absorption or something scientific - we've got our sun lotions, hats, NRAS tee shirts, race numbers all ready......
Both our race numbers have arrived, mine turned up on my birthday!
I think the run might be on tv - apparently it was last year, on channel 5 so will have to investigate this and get back to you all,
We're definitely taking our beetroot juice - proven stamina booster!
Not long now!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks to all our sponsors so far, dont worry we'll definitely do it - my only ambition is to finish, LOTS of peeps are going to be walking - & I'm planning on sightseeing!
Sophie's really looking forward to some respite from all her GCSE's!! xxxxx
